The job is a new position at the hospital. Erin will be training new staff on the electronic medical record and optimizing workflows for RNs. As an aside she develops and help maintain medical systems, software applications and databases for physicians, nurses and other users. She provides technical support by answering user questions, troubleshooting glitches and system issues and documenting and escalating user questions to appropriate personnel. Besides providing phone and email support, Erin analyze and assess the performance of clinical computer systems and recommend areas that need improvements. Other duties include designing and implementing educational and clinical services programs and scheduling system upgrades.
